And both are good excuses for businesses (both bricks and mortar stores and on-line stores) to have sales. Never mind the real reason we have these holidays.

Absolutely nothing to do with Escapes, but Alberta now has a Support Our Troops license plate, for those wishing to express their appreciation year-round. I have them on my motor vehicles; however, they are not available for trailers... we must settle for just the tug.


Somewhat similar plates are available in other jurisdictions, such as Ontario and Colorado (a random sampling from a quick search).
