I like to check the forum daily and see what's new or is going on. Also after being here a while, I feel like I know a lot of you folks even though I have only met several of you personally. And I try to have a couple of posts a week to throw in my 2 cents worth. Loren

We're in the process of getting our wills done and I'm putting together a list of information for the executor. One of which will be to post The Trailer for sale on this forum and to be prepared to add photos and a description. And to answer questions! and hopefully have it sell right away.
This is something our executor would not know about (this forum).
Something for others to think about.

With my trustee, is a sealed envelope with URLs for all the forums I belong to, including Facebook groups/pages. AND the passwords. I couldn't tell you how many times regular posters have dropped out and never heard from again. Health, change of personal directions... or no one knew folks would be concerned and no one made any kind of notification because they didn't know they should...

Hi all
I am a member for the obvious reason that we have a 2017 21' on order
And that build sheet is .... A lot of work
But I am delighted by the kind attitude and amazing depth of knowledge of almost everyone here.
I have spent a long long time reading many threads here
And off menu build options are so cool
We just sold out Casita and I learned a ton with it. It was our first travel trailer
But frankly the people here are really terrific ... And this forum has grabbed me in a way that the Casita forums never did
Well so many more build options on an Escape.
I am positive I will continue here long after we get our 21'

My first impression of this question was that it was screaming out for a tongue in cheek respone, such as I am here because "I don't have a life elsewhere," or "because I crave the abuse heaped upon me by other forum members when they disagree with my opinions." That is, of course, more prevalent on the "other" forum!
But I think Glenn stated it most appropriately in explaining his reason for being here. And if any problem I have experienced (in my trailer, for all the abuse heapers!) and addressed can help someone else, I am happy to share my solution.

For me, it is a combination of finding good advice about all things Escape, and sometimes then being able to give back to the community from my own experiences.
Also Glenn's needs us invisible friends or his wife will realize he's just talking to himself again, and I have to keep track of Iowa Dave's latest Midwestern Classic Prose and Poetry, and Jim B might decide to start loving flavored coffee..........

Ok, maybe Jim B will decide that Corona Light is his favorite beer...

I would believe that is highly unlikely!

Why are you a regular on the forum?
|
There is some kind of bug in my version of Firefox that does not allow my browser to view any other websites besides the Escape Forum. So I can either spend more time with the Rabble and Gentry on this forum or go out and do yard work. For some reason I have the worst looking lawn on my street.

I was in a Mexican Restaurant the othe night. My waiter was Gautamalan. I asked him specifically about Corona beer. He said
"We dont drink that S---! ". Off to St Malo as soon as I fix my hair(s).

There is a Mexican beer worse than Corona.
It's called Sol. Spent a week at an all-inclusive that had Sol as the house beer. All you can drink and don't want to.

This forum is fun and informative. Having met folks at forums and reading their posts you can see their sense of humour..
And Doug may pull his hair out at this (and those who have seen him knows that must have happened a bit) I get lots of ideas for mods...Almost always causing $$ to be spent because we live so close to the factory!!
Looking forward to visiting some of the parks that we see people talk about when we retire...
There are some great people here and any way you can meet people is a bonus...
My three best friends are friends I originally met on line years and years ago...(despite being scared to go out for that first meeting)
And there is always going to be a smile or chuckle over what someone wrote...
Then there are the "lottery winning" ideas...dreams....

For me, I learn so much from the others. Some from good things others have done, and some from mistakes others have made. And the pictures of the new Escapes are great to see! Seems a good group and very positive.

Had the same experience quality wise, but the spigot was great to swim up to for hydration only of course.
We like Mexico and will go to any beach. My "amigo" seems to be at all of them and supplies chairs umbrella and cold bottled beer for very little $.

Heaven was the afternoon I spent drinking Dos Equis and watching people while wife and daughter shopped the tourist traps.

Great camaraderie, a few good funnies, interesting mods, opinions, and collective knowledge that gets distributed.
Also lurking for new product ideas so I can sell stuff!

I learn something new virtually every time I look at the forum (which is almost daily). Lots of great folks here who are willing to help and share!
