I think all of the states have some interesting towns and names that don't always make total sense.
I can be in Norway in about 6 minutes. Des Moines Iowa is not in Des Moines County. Why would you name your town What Cheer, probably because it's down the road from Deep River. And if your town was named Lone Tree and it died would you change the town name to Stump? Just wondering.
used the Sherline this week Tongue weight 450. The 6 volts in the front box hopped her up there a little.

That is what I was thinking, the dual 6ers in that front box, going to have to put more in the fresh tank to keep the weight under 500# which is what the 21 measured.

Drove thru Texas on a Christmas eve a few years ago thinking that if I go south, I would miss the snow and ice. Ha- freezing rain and horizontal snow, iced over bridges and black ice. I didn't think I would ever reach sunny California. Texas goes on and on and on. So when I purchased my Casita, I had it delivered! Maybe some day I'll check out Big Bend National Park.

I'm not sure, but I'm almost positive you left out Utopia, Texas. It's near Blanco and Uvalde.

Worth a look see Jerry, but it's the kind of place you have to go to intentionally - it's not "on the way" to anywhere. We're headed to Chisos Basin after the Escape Rally.

Alf, my places to live is starting to dwindle....
Steve, I'd love to be a part of a caravan of Escapes crossing the country on the way to Osoyoos, following the Oregon or Chisholm Trails in a line crossing the prairie and forming a circle at night for protection from marauders, heading out and appearing to be a long white train on the way to be near where we all were hatched. Much like the swallows returning to Capistrano, or the salmon swimming upstream to spawn, the monarch butterfly and canadian geese heading north as we meander our way.

great place to have a cool swim and Lost Maples Park is great when the leaf colors change...while probably not a big deal to folks up north, for Texans it sure beats looking at all the Mesquite trees.
