And a good question. The 4 cyl and 5 cyl don't have the towing capacity for the 19. The v8 does.

We went over the Casita with a fine toothed comb, even went to Rice to see the factory. I think anyone wanting to get into their first lightweight molded would be happy with the Casita, but IMHO the craftsmanship and materials used on the Escape are far superior. Also, if customization is important to you, Casita is more limited compared to the Escape. There are a number of options available for a modest additional charge on the Escape that are not available on the Casita -- at any price.

All of this comes down to personal preference, and I have friends who are very happy with the Casita. It just wasn't the best fit for us.

Hi B&B:

We are selling our 19ft Escape. We bought it in February last year and used it twice. It is in almost new condition and fully loaded except for solar panel and cot. Asking $29,000.

regards,

Peter Rice

Hi there; Does it have air conditioning?

Where would be able to view it?
Regards, Bruce and Bev

Hi Bruce & Bev:

Yes, it has an 11,000BTU Air conditioner.

I am travelling from Sechelt to Chiliwack tomorrow to have it serviced by Reace.

If you send me your email, I will send you some images. Let me know if you are able to see it.. I don't know where you live, but possibly we could meet up on my way back to Horseshoe Bay.

In total, the trailer has been used for four weeks since we picked it up from Reace and Tammy on February 28th, 2013. It came off the line that week. It is a 2013 model.

We bought the trailer with the following:

Three burner stainless steel stove and hood
Additional window over sink
Air Conditioning (11,000BTU)
Aluminum rims (5)
Bike rack ready
Cabinet door at end of bench
Dual 6V batteries
Exterior propane connect
Exterior shower added to interior shower package
Extra insulation and thermal package
LED interior light package
LED exterior porch light
LED Captains reading lights (2)
Microwave
Removable power cord
Stainless steel sink and chrome faucet
Blu Ray DVD player (at the time the only one available in North America0
Sony radio / CD /MP3 player
Samsung 22" LED TV with wall mount swivel extendable arm
Storage box at front
Surge protector
TV antenna with power amplifier
Additional12V outlet by table
95W solar panel READY
1500W inverter with three plugs; bedside, adjacent to microwave and under centre extension (table)
With the exception of a solar panel, we literally included ever option/accessory

I hope it is of interest. Please let me know if it is what you are looking for.

Best regards,

Peter

Just curious; why are you selling? We have an Escape 19 on order. Hopefully it's not because you don't like it.
