We would like to purchase a 17'B. We're located in WA state, but willing to travel for it.

How much are you asking for it?
List the 'fully loaded' items.

Your trailer will not sell itself, which is why it is still available.
If you really want to sell it, you will list the price, the options, the condition and where it is located, with photos.
See other for sale ads for examples.

You would also fix your profile information to remove Alabama and you might give the reason for selling. People are suspect of things that don't appear right.

No use Glenn. Gave a slew of helpful hints earlier, but it's clear he ignored them. Hope it sells soon.

It's not a question of what it's worth. It's a question of missing info. When you don't provide specific info, it can scare off many potential buyers. As we've suggested several times, you can sell it quickly by posting photos of it, along with a complete list of options. "Loaded" is not an options list. As for the price, you should have no trouble getting what you paid for it -- provided you give enough info to attract a buyer.

Maybe Alabama annexed itself to Canada.

But, agree - post photos and a list of what all it has. And a price. Not everyone is going to know what's inside a 17B and will want to see what it looks like.

What neighborhood are you in Derrill? Perhaps one of the Calgary regulars can swing by for a look see and help you out.

Good luck with the medical situation. Its no fun being in pain or worried about the future. God bless.

I know everyone's intentions are good, but your efforts are not helping the sale of Derril's trailer at all.

I just had a great chat with Derril, nice guy. Basically, his trailer is brand new, with all the options listed on the Escape site, short of only a few things, like the satellite receiver, 3 burner stove, and bunk. It cost him $31k all in. Anyone looking to buy a 17B, and skip the 1 year production queue, would be well advised to have a look at his trailer. Here is a link to what he has, again fully loaded.
The 17 Foot Escape

I am going to try to get down in the next few days to take some photos for him.

Maybe he can take it to ETI and they can sell it for him on consignment, like they have done in the past. They could then answer any questions a buyer may have as well as post the pictures.

It appears that Derril's efforts are a bit lacking. Great that you have stepped in to assist him.
Without your help...its kind of like...a listing for oceanfront property in AZ for sale....

Glad you took the time to step in Jim. With more info, it'll sell quick.

I think many of us don't understand the sellers reluctance to give more info that's all. Good luck to this guy in health and his future sale.

There are a lot of older folks out there that are not at ease or unsure of how to do a lot of things online. And it is extremely commendable as to what Jim is doing. As for waiting to buy a trailer if you want one, don't. I have seen to many cases where people wait and then their health fails and they hardly get a chance to use their trailer. Cathy pushed our time line up so we would not fall into that category. Loren
