Formulae
Hi Doug,
Hope your pursuit of a cool 19 is quick and easy. If you've been watching this forum you know they sell pretty quickly. I think most buyers of used Escapes will agree on these steps.
1. If a trailer is advertised, respond quickly, get your phone contact to the seller.
2. Have your finances in order. Especially a holding deposit if acceptable to the seller.
3. Be prepared to travel.
4. Don't be afraid to ask openly about the trailer, often the seller will get comments about how nice their trailer is written by someone who is familiar with it.
5. Check past trailer sales for cost vs. age vs. features, vs. condition. A dolled up 2012 may sell for and be superior to a minimallly equipped 2014 for example.
Best of Luck
