Hello. I have an immaculate 2011 Escape 15A for sale. Although I won’t be attending the rally, I live 78 miles east of Osoyoos.

You have to be willing to travel with cash in hand for most any brand of fiberglass trailer is our experience. Sometimes no, it isn't convenient but you do what you have to do if you want one.

Yeah..... however, it’s difficult to compete with someone that shows up at your doorstep with a fistful of cash within hours of posting the ad. I am from a Minnesota so it’s a little more difficult - logistically.
Hopefully, there is a 15a out there with my name on it. I sure wish Escape would bring back the 15 - I truly believe there is a market for the smaller trailers. It seems like most of the manufacturers are building larger and larger trailers. I guess the consumer is demanding larger trailers. Maybe Scamp is the exception, I was told the 13’ Scamp remains their best selling trailer.
Anyway, everyone enjoy the Escape Rally.

I'd just "settle" for a 17.

Word has it that Happier Camper has the molds for the Trillium 5500 and will producing those trailers. So, there may be hope for something similar 'yet.' I know Happier Camper will be at the 50th Boler Event and Caravan. Maybe they'll have a proto-type there...

Yeah.... that’s what my wife keeps telling me.
I have been discussing a 17a build with Reace for over a year now. Unfortunately, Reace doesn’t want to build the kitchen area the way I want it. If Reace agreed to the modifications, I would order it on Monday. I personally have a problem with spending $25k on a trailer that isn’t what I want it. Sooooooo, I will keep looking for a 15a.
Someday, I just need to be patient.

I was just corresponding with one of the owners of Happy Campers yesterday about their AC system. They are building a proto-type as we speak and it is their intentions to have it at the Boler event.
A friend of mine asked me to go to the Boler 50th Gathering, but I declined. Personally, that’s just too big of a Rally.

If you want small and custom...these people will build you any interior. I saw them in person and they are a great build. However...with the same options the Escape17 is ruffly the same price!

I looked at the Armadillo Trailer last year. It is indeed a nice trailer, but I agree with you about the pricing.
I have pretty much looked at all of the fiberglass trailer manufactures and I keep coming back to Escape (quality and price). However, having said that, Donna D. Have given me hope that Happier Camper might produce a 15’ model someday.
For the way my wife and I camp, the 15 model is really the prefect trailer. We have a 13’ Trailer now, which we love, but that extra 2 feet would be heaven.

The Trillium 5500 was 5.5 metres long - about the length and width of an Escape 19'. If Happier Camper has moulds for the Trillium 4500, that would be a roughly 15-foot trailer.
I am certainly not discouraging the idea of finding a used Escape 15', but if one can't be found an alternative would be to do an extensive restoration and renovation of one of the other brands of trailer of the same size and shape: - original Trillium 4500
- Triple-E Surfside TM14 (which Reace used as a starting point, stretching it among other mods to make the original Escape 17 Foot)
- Trillium RV 4500
Any of these would likely need a lot of work, including possible repair of the belly seam (since they don't have Escape's improved joint design), frame repairs or upgrades, window replacement, etc.

No more renovations for me. I renovated our 1984 UHaul from the frame up, and although it was a fun project, I am not interested in doing it again.
I want something I can pack up and go.
The right 15a is out there for me.
Maybe I need to start a petition to bring back the 15.

I'm sure someone would be willing to do it for you, for the right price. Of course, that could be even more expensive than a new trailer.

No.... I will just wait for the prefect 15a. It seems like three 15s come up for sale every year. There has already been two, and I believe one will be offered in July. Unfortunately, I think it’s a 15b.
So, I will enjoy our UHaul until then.

My question: Why is the HCT being sold at a dealer's when it isn't on the website (something that has been promised for several months?)
