I'm located in Portland, OR but willing to travel to wherever if somebody has a 2010 or newer Escape 17A or 19 in good to excellent condition that they would like to sell.
I would like to have one for a west coast trek but see that all orders are full for 2016 and they aren't even taking deposits for the 2017 build outs yet.
Hello, I am no longer looking for the Escape 17A or 19. It turns out that upon more education I don't feel that my 2012 Toyota Highlander would make a appropriate tow vehicle due to its unibody. If I could delete the message thread I would.

Unibody is not an issue. Dozens, hundreds of Escapes being towed with unibody vehicles. I'm towing with a RAV4 and have for seven years. Last service I asked them to check the hitch receiver and they reported all is well.
However, let me know if you still want to delete.

It sounds like you've received something, but it wasn't education.
In multiple forums over several years I have never heard of a single incident in which a vehicle towing a trailer within its rated limits using a proper hitch had a structural problem... unibody or not.
