Wanted: Escape 17B

We're looking for an Escape 17B within 1,000 miles of Chicago. I can't take off more than 4 days at once, and this is the distance I can travel in that time. I can travel to Canada to pick up, but please ensure a legible USDOT label/sticker for import purposes. Our ceiling is 15,000 USD and we are cash buyers.

I keep this forum open in a tab that I refresh at least daily to see if new want ads have come up, so if I haven't indicated otherwise, I'm still looking!

Hi there. We r seriously considering selling our 2011 17B. While we haven't decided for sure yet, we would want closer to $17,500. I just installed a new fridge and water pump as we as New batteries and new counters. I also had the factory install air conditioning (love it!).
We r in Texas headed toward Florida then North. Maybe the timing will work. Pm me if this sounds like a possibility.
Thanks

Sherm thanks for the offer. Nice videos! $17,500 seems like a fair price and I wish we could make you an offer, but as this is a leisure activity for us we are not willing to exceed our budget.

Not a problem! Hope you find the right trailer. The escape trailers are outstanding!

We were able to view a 17B today courtesy of fellow forum member Tony Nowak. We went up to view his Bigfoot 17'--beautiful, spacious trailer, but ultimately we didn't feel that it was right. He was kind enough to let us take a look in his new 17B. Although cozier, it felt like a great fit.

We'll continue seeking a 17B in the $15,000 range, but would also like to put feelers out for an older 19 in the $20,000 range--possibly something with repaired damage or just someone needing the cash. But don't get crazy, clean or rebuilt titles only please. Only other requirement is that it has A/C or A/C prep.

maybe you could each drive 1/2 way and meet in, say, Cheyenne?? (Of course, the trip from/to Eugene is the more scenic half, IMO).

Thanks for the responses here! We're off the market. We purchased a Hymer Touring GT (traitors!). The quality is not on par with the Escape we saw, but it has some nice features and it's certainly unique! Mostly the price was right. But that thing is already breaking me in.

We'll be back in a few years when we decide it's time to upgrade!
