GaryH, I see you are in Parksville, BC.
Where did you find these window vent covers? We've just been in the Okanagan the last three nights with thunder and lightening and a torrential downpour of rain. Rain poured in through the screen mesh on the windows. If the windows can't be flipped upside down so the opening is under the awning or ordered with the opening under the awning I would like to give these a try.These could have come in handy and they may be cheaper.

Hi, I got it at a local RV parts place. It happened to be a demo that they sold to me & they haven't restocked them. It does appear that for some reason, they aren't sold locally. I have a RV repair guy that will order anything in for me, so you could try that route. Or, you could order them directly from Maxxair, but watch out for the couriers "shipping/brokerage" charges. Better if they can use USPS & mail it. They do work great!! And, yes, i've often wondered why the awning doesn't extend completely over the side window!!
