Got to work today and printed the November calendar. Lovely picture of a 19' trailer out boondocking in the Alabama hills. Sigh... living vicariously!

Oooops looks like Americans are celebrating Thanksgiving on the last Friday of the month this year

Happy November!

You folk south of the 49th have Thanksgiving so late, why not just combine it with Christmas.

LOL. Pretty sure with a bit of effort, it could be stretched even further.

Are you people all crazy? Why would we want to reduce 3 "party" days to 1. That would be like combining breakfast, lunch, and supper, and only having one meal a day. Bad idea, very bad idea!

Americans are obese, that's why we try to have one huge FOOD day a month. Just finished up teaching our children how to mooch and then eat a ton of sugar (being sarcastic). Adult day of overeating coming up in 24 days. Don't separate us from our food!

An extra big good home cooked meal once in a while won't make you obese. Enjoy the celebration! It's the sugary junk food and soft drinks that we are exposed to every day that are the culprit.

These days, we (society in general) do tend to look at food as recreation, rather than just sustenance. I heard recently they are redesigning crash test dummies to better reflect the increased average weight of drivers and passengers, going from 167 pounds, to 270 lbs.

The airlines have had to raise the average weight of their passengers too. I suppose stepping on a scale before getting on a plane would be very offensive even though it might make things safer for all. As for a 2015 Escape calendar, I wonder if those of us with a trailer on order will get one. Loren
