2018 21 ft Escape options

Hi,
We have bought a 21 foot escape with delivery for October, 2018.
Our first trip will be about 9 months long: down the U.S. West coast, into Baja California then across the Southern states. It will be our home for quite awhile. We are excited but are overwhelmed at the available options.

So we are looking for option advice - the must haves and like to haves.

All insights are appreciated.

Welcome folks
Sounds like a good trip to break in the trailer. As far as options, there a a ton of past threads on the topic. Use the Search drop down above and punch in something like "21 options" in the bottom box, you'll get a list of the threads. Here's one to get you started.

A lot depends on your camping style and preferred campground type, private, public, boondocking, etc.

Just to warn you, our threads tend to drift around a lot, rarely staying on topic too long. When you come up with specific questions try a search on it, if you don't find what you want post it.

Speaking of drift, just be sure to pack plenty of poutine for your trip......

Down into Baja suggests you should configure for extended use without hookups, ergo solar, dual 6V batteries, etc.

Heading across the southern states suggests hopping onto hookups for AC.

Extended live-in ability means bringing the conveniences of home, or doing without them.

In short, you want the Go Anywhere package. Lots of fun choices. And the beauty is that you can easily configure an Escape to do all of that!

As a back up to Bob's post, here is a 43(!) page monster to peruse.

Basically, you'll want a full load as mentioned already and perhaps some custom touches.
