5.0 Bedroom Loft Windows

FYI,

For those of you planning to order a Escape 5.0 with thermo windows, you might want to consider getting single pane windows that open in the loft. While at the deer lease this past weekend, it cooled down enough to sleep without AC. We ran the maxifan on low with only the loft windows open which worked very well at providing a good cross breeze to sleep comfortably. And you save $200.00 on the option.

No kidding, we have had 6" of snow over the last few days, and temps not even close to getting above freezing. The heater in our trailer would be working almost full time. LOL

I saved more than $200 not getting A/C.

Gotta love these geographical differences members here experience.

Yes, I doubt you would need the thermo package for a LoneStar edition fiver, except for maybe helping to keep the heat out vs the cold.

It is quite funny hearing my Uncle who goes to Arizona every winter with half the population of Albert over 65 talk about how they all have there insulated trailers down there to keep the heat out and the ac in.

Re: 5.0 Bedroom Loft Windows

We're 70/85 degrees this week and still swimming out back. I doubt you could resale a trailer down here without AC. I once left Texas in early May to camp in the US Rockies only to find most of the campgrounds closed due to snow. What a suprise!

Here is a picture of side opening 5.0 windows.

Re: 5.0 Bedroom Loft Windows

Is there a screen in the winder (northerner) there? Can not quite make it out?

O'yall...Did I mention we are out numbered by bugs down here. All your openings including windows must have screens.
It seldom gets cold enough to thin them out.

Re: 5.0 Bedroom Loft Windows

Like that vs the slider which doesn't afford as much air flow to the whole loft.
