A rear trunk for an Escape

These are less than 8' long and weight less than 1000 lbs, possible to tow behind your Escape?

More like an addition, or maybe an in-law suite?

I'm back in the doghouse

I could see us getting one for when I'm in the doghouse and the dog is in my house. I'd study up on this but I can't find my Learn to Speak German records. If I had one I'd name her
Spamette.

Backing that tandem up would be fun to watch from a safe distance.

The bed runs essentially the whole 2 metre length of the trailer body, down the street side, which is the same length as a cross-wise bed in a 2 metre wide Escape (such as the 17'). This layout has been used for other very small travel trailers in Europe.

More fun than sleeping standing up!

The trailer proportions do look a little like a phone booth, or an outhouse...

Down here we call those Port O Johnny. Classy folks call them Kybos we parkies just called them a plastic S. House. I perfected sleeping on a picnic table seat, took years of practice. So I'm good with any bed and any mattress. There was a benefit being 5'10", a six foot table was plenty long.

You must have been bad a lot to learn to sleep on a picnic table seat ... requesting you start a thread "How I got into trouble this time" .... probably would be a good read.

Best story: was about the guy who pulled into a convenience store / gas station. He filled the gas .... she went to the head. He drove for two hours before he noticed his wife wasn't with him. Four hours later, upon his return, he found his wife sitting on the curb.

Now THAT is in trouble!

If it was me, self preservation might have kicked in and maybe I would have kept going?

Sorry if this story was posted here and its a repeat. I'm still chuckling over it.

My wife is RFS on this site. You are welcome to PM her and ask her about the time I left her in a gas station in French speaking Quebec. She could run a lot faster than I thought. And 46 more years of wedded bliss. She was my prom date in 1966 and it's been quite a trip for her over the years. I married up a long ways.
