Maybe the Gen 3 models will be 17, 19, and 23; and then be known as Escape Prime.

We have a fur kid too. She joins us for morning coffee in bed (after she's been fed and pottied, of course)

Because we are silly...we bought ourselves two Pillow Pets (a fox and a bear) to have up on our bed. We use them for extra support for reading at night. They are cute and hope our grand baby likes them when he gets a little bit older!
Enjoy your coffee ritual!!

Coffee and the 5.0

We love coffee in the morning with our fur babies too. Such an important part of the day! It is really not much of a problem. We had some large, thick, sturdy decorator pillows on hand that happened to go well with our decor. They look great on the bed during the day. When we go to bed we toss them down below--out of our path to the coffee makings. Whoever gets up to make the coffee in the morning tosses them back up and the one still in bed arranges them so we can sip our coffee in bliss. Enjoy!

What a refreshing discussion! No breaks, no leaks, nobody falling off a cliff, no diesel-gasoline jousting....
All can be easily well after all.

Bed chair pillow

How do you deal with the angle? Extra pillows? Something else?

We've always sat in bed in the very early morning drinking our coffee, but the way the head is angled, I'm not sure if we can continue. I've looked at some triangular pillows, but don't know whether they are the right size/angle or offer enough support.

What do you do?
I use a bed chair pillow. You can get them almost anywhere - BiMart, Walmart, Bed
Bath and Beyond, ect.

Spilling coffee is one thing but thick, brown gravy? I would surely spill something and I am in favour of sitting outside with either a mug of coffee or gravy!

I found the body pillows at Wally for $10 and covers are $10. Got one for the bed and one for the back bench of the U dinette. Wifey loved them so much on our recent trip that we got rid of the bed pillow backs in the trailer and go with just the body pillows. All good.

23 ? I would think offering another layout for the 21 would be great . Could still keep what is , but another layout especially moving the bed area from the door . A lot see that as a deal breaker . The 19 is perfect as well as the 5 Ta . Not very familiar with the 17 ‘s . A fabric change is long overdue . How about a choice or two ? Improving on what is could go a long way . Don’t throw things at me , it is just my and Linda’s opinion. Pat

I use at home, on the power boat and in our 5 TA a Tempur Pedic back wedge system with a neck support. 4 pieces. Perfect fit in our 5 TA. Check it out. Problem solved. Relax the Back stores sell them.

Yes no doubt changes are coming to ETI, I saw on another thread where Reace said he would let everyone no soon what the future holds for them.
As far as 23' I think as long as quality stays the same they can sell those as well but also think more options in the 21' moving the bed to the back is a good idea.
We bought our 2014 Escape used and say we bought our last trailer but never know I guess .

Enjoy the journey.

We went Casita 17, Scamp 19, another Scamp 19, now Escape 5.0 ta! No desire for anything longer.

As for beverages in bed, we never do that. Hubby makes tea in the morning, I wait until it is ready then slither out of bed adjusting the Beddys as I go. So the bed is neatly made by the time I hit the top step. We drink outside or at the dinette, depending on mood & weather.

I could never have a morning beverage without answering the call of Nature first!

Hi: EllieB... I can't stand in bed, neither can I drink. At the risk of being "Politically corrected" I take mine black.
