Another Texas Escape

We just took the plunge and ordered a 5.0TA.

Completion is currently scheduled for November 20, but we were told it could be several months sooner, after the new production is fully on line.

You are joining quite a few other Texans who already have or are waiting for their Escape to be built. We live near Houston and our's is currently scheduled for the end of June. Just like you we are hoping the completion date is moved up. At any rate, you will find lots of great advice on this forum so if you have any questions just ask away.

Welcome to the group. The Texas group is becoming rather substantial. I can hardly wait to get ours. Im looking forward to more rallies.

Thank you all. I can't say "y'all" because I'm not a native Texan.

You people who contribute to this forum have already helped us a lot in deciding what we want. And the spirit of helpfulness, satisfaction with the Escape products, and just plain fun certainly influenced our decision to go with the Escape. We look forward to continuing to learn from you, and meeting face to face in future rallies.

For you Texas version Escape owners, check with your local Ford dealer, you may be able to talk them out of one of the Texas Edition badges they put on the F-150. The dealer in Boerne gave me a couple for free! Nothing like a "Texas Edition" trailer!

never thought of that, guess the silverado owners could also try for a "Texas Edition" or the Ram owners might try for a "Lone Star" edition badge
enjoy reading and the pics for the travel of the current Texans headed to pickup their trailers in the snow and ice.....
