Any fixes for preventing gnats from entering?

Just got home from picking up our new 5.0TA! After a few weeks through Pacific Northwest, we found that those wee little gnats were getting into the trailer. We were sure to turn off all lights in and out of trailer before entering and exiting through door. We had this same issue with our Nash before we sold it. Has anyone replaced their screens with no-see-um screens- or something else? Looking to prevent smashing bugs all over new rig!

My husband replaced all window screens with new no-see-um screening. He bought it on amazon. Then he took off the screens & used them as a pattern.

Our 2013 19 had the old style screen door so we just kept the door closed. Never had a problem!

They're all gone after stopping in Mojave on a 105° day ( Inside the Escape just may have been a little hotter ).

Keep in mind the tighter weave cuts down air flow.

The time I had a lot I suspect they were coming in through the space around the exit window arm.

I find that the bodies wipe up off the vinyl wall covering just fine.

I was a little worried about bugs while waiting to see the Union Pacific Locomotive
Big Boy #4014 this morning in Belle Plaine Iowa but the steam and smoke was enough to keep them down. 1.2 million pounds of
American Iron and Steel. Built in 1941. Refurbished and on tour for the 150th anniversary of the driving of the spike.

Golly, that locomotive is huge there, Dave. I remember visiting Ottumwa one saturday back in the 1960's and observed their railroad crossing of 2 tracks going north and south and two tracks east and west, never saw such a set up and wondered why they did not build an overpass to eliminate that crossroads. I think it was Chicago, Burlington and Quincy the east/west tracks but the other one escapes my mind at present.Took the CB&Q once from Fairfield to Chicago and then Pennsylvania RR east to Baltimore in 1966 at Christmas break.

Aw, Dave; you lucky duck! Isn't that just the most amazing machine. The latest I've heard out here west of the San Andreas Fault is UPRR is maybe thinking about considering a West coast trip for #4014, but don't hold your breath or bet anything of value.
(besides, Calif. just might try to Tax it, or to outlaw the exhaust)

Send me your email via PM and I’ll send you a Couple links. This big Locomotive has been in Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois for a few weeks. They said the stop in West Chicago drew 45,000 people. It’s headed back west now but took a little side trip off the mainline to Des Moines today and tomorrow and then is headed to Omaha this weekend.
I had oversight for the City Train museum in Council Bluffs in the 70’s. Had some good times doing school tours and making a home movie with my friends . I also had oversight for a monument of a railroad spike about 40 feet tall that was built as part of the movie “Golden Spike” a Cecil B DeMille film. It got hit by lightning once and we used the Forestry Department Hi Ranger to patch it up and paint it. I’ve always loved trains.
