anyone installed the "compact" rvlock?

Just wondering if anyone has installed the compact version of the rv lock. and if you did what do you think about it. Was it difficult to install?

I was wondering if the compact version would fit the 1st gen (classic) models?

No, it won't. The raised area of the door is right next to the original lock - and even the compact RVLock model is too wide.
