Best name for an Escape trailer?
We didn't name our trailer, because everything we came up with was either corny or taken.
Among the names I've heard, rbryan4's "Past Tents" is the one I wish I had thought of first. Has anyone else spotted a great name on an Escape or an SOB trailer?

Very cute, Brent and Cheryl.
There are lists to be found, one of which is possibly on the Casita Forum. If you look around you can find a list somewhere. There are quite a few good names.

I can't even refer to my wonderful 5.0TA any other way. It's so ingrained into the way I think about the trailer.
This is the link to the list referred to on the CasitaForum. Lots and lots of great names. You must be a member to view the PDF

We decided to name our new Escape 19 trailer "Blanquillo." This is Spanish for "little white thing." We originally thought about naming it "huevo nuevo" as I like the alliteration, but I found that "huevo" means "egg" but also is often used for "ball" as in testicle. That seemed too crude for us. The Urban Slang Dictionary suggested "blanquillo" as an alternative, more polite term.
Why a Spanish term? We live in northern California and there is a heavy Spanish influence here. We saw others using French terms, so we thought about possible names in other languages and Spanish seemed appropriate given the area where we live.

During our trailer's incubation period I did come up with a potential name, "If not now . . . ." However, it pretty much just confused most people I tried it out on. They must have still been in the pre-bucket list period of their lives.

Because I'm a rail enthusiast, my wife suggested " The Pullman "
so that's what it will be.

Took a year but we went with Peanut, for it's size. Other then tents, were usually the smallest camper in the campground. Seeing another fiberglass trailer here in the east is rare.

Yes, name the trailer after your likes, job, hobby, etc. My first choice for the trailer name was "Wings Across America" as I love planes, flying, and am an ex pilot. But that name is copyrighted and I wasn't going to take a chance and step on some toes. When I visited Linda in Liberty, Mo. several weeks ago, one of the first things I noticed was the lack of a name on her new 17. As she is involved with nature and the outdoors, maybe something like, "The Eagles Nest", or whatever. Will have to join the Casita forum to see all of those names. Several years ago in Florida, we saw a boat named "Poverty Sucks" and we thought that pretty much said it all. Loren

There is a Casita out there named Tic-Tac. Thought that pretty clever.

Honoring my German heritage, we named ours Unser Ei (Our Egg). Maybe think along the egg lines -- Eggstraspecial, Eggstraterrestrial ....

That would be a perfect name for their 13.

Very creative, eh? Works just fine for us.

Hey. that's what we'll be calling ours as well! We've never gotten into naming our vehicles or anything like that.

I quite like seeing what others come up with, some are very original, others...meh. I think for some it has some good meaning, and others name their trailers just for the sake of thinking they should.
Given names for objects is just something I have never done, is all. I am okay with that.

I must say, I think "Spirit of the Plains" is the classiest name I've ever heard. Well done.
