We're thinking of naming ours, but once you put your name on the trailer you lose some anonymity. That's how I was able to track down Toto when I saw it in a park nearby. Anyone think this is a concern at all?
For names, we've narrowed it down to Escape Pod, Antidote, Snug Bug, or Trail Snail. For now Trail Snail is the frontrunner as we love to hike and are getting this trailer so we can explore new territory.

I like the name too, but it seems a bit long, as in "Honey, could you that the dishes out to the Spirit of the Plains".
I guess Spirit could be a nice shortened version. I like that too.

Our 17B (which we love) is just the egg. We don't feel the need to put a name on it but to each their own.

For just a pun on the word egg, you've got a ton of possibilities, like:
eggspertly
eggreable
seggway
eggomania
eggcentric
eggcited
eggloo
eggsact
eggsample
eggstraordinary
eggsagerated
Or, add a word in front or back, like "So Eggcited"

Was just listing as many as I could think of. Maybe one will stick. I do like Eggceptional, Eggscursion and a couple of others.

Years ago I had a much loved horse. I didn't name him other than referring to him as "the Dun" or certain other names when the high spirited animal acted up. I did speak to the horse but never used any name by which to address the animal.
We refer to our trailer as "the Escape" or "the Trailer" so far The Escape hasn't shown behaviors which caused me to curse it or mutter at it. We don't feel the need/desire to stick a name on the thing. I do, however, enjoy hearing the names people put on their trailers.

Early on, like right after we put down our deposit, we toyed with the name "Peanuts", since we are Charlie & Lucy, and refer to ourselves a lot as part of the Peanuts gang. However, we decided to go with Casa Blanca, as we plan to spend a lot of time in California, and also down in Baja Mexico and go with the Spanish flavoring.

BlackJack is named after a beloved black lab who has crossed the rainbow bridge and is also another name for the card game "21" thus Escape BlackJack.

Clever. I wondered where the name came from.

"The Big Easy"
After picking up our trailer last year we, traveled from Pacific to Atlantic... through Canada going East & the States coming back.
Just returned from NM going down I5 and then back north through Winslow, Flagstaff, four corners, Moab, SSC... to Port Angles, etc.
On lots of occasions we had folks pass us blowing their horns and then giving us "thumbs up" as we then made visual contact.
At CG's, most Americans related the name to New Orleans, while in Canada (maybe because they were golfers or more worldly), Ernie Els, the South African golfer.
Our answer... "Big" enough for us... and "Easy" to pull
Travel Safe,
Larry
