Best way to pay off Escape trailer balance
For those of you who have recently picked up your new Escape...Conga-Rats!!!
My question to you folks is how did you conduct the final payment? I intended to send them a check, but one of my buddies advised me that wire transfer may be a better option. I sent Sarah an email, but would like some input.
What say you?

my first payment was via cc and the other 2 were via regular check. If there is a small balance due they will take cc if less than $2500
remember to double your postage when mailing.

We did a wire transfer directly to ETI's US bank. Canada Post was threatening to go on strike at the time and we couldn't risk any delays. Mailing a standard check would have been slightly cheaper and a lot less hassles.
I just paid off my balance last week and did a wire transfer from my credit union. It went very smoothly and I got a good exchange rate, but the credit union charged $40.00 for the wire. Sounds like a check sent via USPS will work just fine.
