Might be, I can see the ends of my bikes, haven't noticed any bounce. I do know the beast weighs 54 lbs., the 1up 2 bike rack is 46 lbs. Both would seem to be heavy duty.

You would be correct. I got an 8” receiver welded to each side of the rear frame for my flagpole holder. I utilize the vacant one for storing my stinger.

Jim, I used same logic in my decision to purchase the 1UP. My old bike rack lasted 20 years, and I figure this new bike rack will last longer than me.

If price is swaying anyone toward the Swagman products, etrailer.com has them on sale through today, up to 25% off.

Otherwise you can stop sending all this money to BC and support a good Wisconsin company and get the 1UP for full price!
