The first up things on my bucket list, which will have to take place once I retire, is multi-month trips across Canada to spend lots of time in the Maritimes, and a similar trip up to the Yukon, NWT and Alaska. I would love to take our canoe, and do some trips with it along the way too.

Great choice. Close by is Toadstool National Monument in the Oglala Grasslands. If you like solitude and a unique landscape, its a good stop.

Anywhere there is no one else in sight, for long enough to relax and feel immersed in the local environment.

Newfoundland and Labrador (probably just the Newfoundland part)... the only province that I have never been to.

EAA's AirVenture at Oshkosh - I've given up on flying in, but a travel trailer trip would still be nice.

One more:
Camp (which would be boondocking) on the site of my grandparents house (which is long gone) on their homestead in Alberta. I only found the location recently, and don't even know who owns it now... and there's no road to it anymore.
