Hey bro, thanks again for stepping up to the plate with dinner last night. You totally live up to your screen name! Also thanks to Jack and Nancy (our honorary Californians) and Lori and Jane for the drinky-poo's, McKeag's for the desserts (excellent!!) and Mark for the portable flame thrower.

eSCABs rock! We're already working up the menu for next year. Ooorah!

Jalama Beach will never be the same! Definitely count us in for next year! For all of you Escape owners, Jalama Beach "California Escapees Rally" is a must, you won't be disapointed. I will admit however, that I usually return from camping trips nice and relaxed....I'm exhausted! ;-)

I concur with all. Had one of the best times of my life. Great people, delicious hot fish tacos, (I had 3!) and tri-tip dinner and one of the best locations in the history of locations.

Greggo, you da man. Exclusive or not, the Escape owners are the best and as most always, ya meet some wonderful people (SOBs) when camping that are always havin a good time.

All involved made an indelible impression on Jalama and made memories of a lifetime.

A few pics I got too.... (3rd pic, Escapes are on top of the hill, last day of gathering)

Thanks Mark! You certainly did your part to make it an enjoyable weekend.

The stars certainly lined up on this one to make it a great get together! Some of the naysayers who thought we were threatening the future of the solar system by doing this might think about joining us next time, they might find their inner beach bum and enjoy a great "chill-out"!

Let's hope for a better one next year.

Yes! Better, bigger, more happy faces and good times. Next year will be great! Looking forward to it.

I keep looking at the pictures and reliving the fun. It's always nice to see the honest faces and the pleasure that all are having. Very therapeutic.

It was a wonderful weekend! Many thanks to everyone involved! I look forward to next year, but in the mean time we'll see some of you at the Lake Casitas Rally ...

It was an absolute pleasure meeting you, your wonderful wife and enjoying the delicious hot fish tacos. Everyone in the group was great and I detected a light bit of jealousy from other campers (SOBs) that viewed our Escape trailers. I heard at least several times, "this is NICE" when inside an Escape. I think we're making some converts here.

Kowabunga dudes, the Jalama surf mob at the first ever California "Surfs Up" Escape Get-together had a blast and want to warn all civil authorities well in advance that we're going to do it again.

Consensus was same weekend. The original surf gang will discuss off line if we want to move it for some cooler weather but for now it's looking like 9-11/12-2015. (don't jump the gun and grab a spot until we finalize the date!).

We have to keep it small but not too "exclusive" (we're party'in in campsites, not a group area). SOB's (some other brands) can come by to say howdy but like this year, it's an event for Escape owners, so our secret surf spot doesn't get toooo crowded. Get in touch with your inner "beach bum" and come chill with us at Jalama.

Let me know, dudes!
