The annual passes are a pretty good deal , family/group $136.40 , adult $67.70 , senior $57.90
considering how many and how accessible they are for anyone between Alberta and the coast .

The national park passes can be purchased at any park, and are good for a year from when they are purchased (not just the rest of the calendar year). I believe that a portion of the fee paid goes to the park where it is purchased, so you might make a point of buying it at your favourite park if that is convenient.

I buy one every year. Between day trips skiing and mountain biking, to some longer stays, it is well worth it. Besides, if you travel the Icefields Parkway from Lake Louise to Jasper (one of the most beautiful drives in the world), you need to have at least a day pass.

I'm not sure, but i don't think it applies the same at Long Beach & Green Point Campground. It's a National Park, run by BC Parks. They do have pretty steep parking rates though! More expensive than downtown Vancouver!

Just spent all of last week at Green Point CG in Pacific Rim Natl Park. My annual parks pass purchased in Jasper was perfectly acceptable.

Are the annual park fees for residents only? I assume they are for an individual only. What about the $19.60, is that per person or how many are at a campsite?
Does the $19.60, which appears to be a day pass, get you anything else?

The $19.60 is for one day for a carload of people. The same for the $136.40 annual pass (which if bought at the first of the month is good until the end of the same month a year later, close to 13 months). I believe these fees are the same for residents and aliens alike, but not 100% positive.
