Thanks for any advice.
I try to keep our trailer well "polished" with 303 Aerospace Protectant & most of the "crud" doesn't really stick. I tend to rinse with the pressure washer, hand wash with soap & microfibre cloths (Castile soap), rinse with pressure washer, and then re-303. Most stuff doesn't stick, and the H2O2 treatment on stubborn bugs at the appropriate step of this process is quite helpful, as needed.

I can't use smelly products, which almost everything is (303 smells a bit, but it is a quick job so I can cope well enough), and no way am I buffing - hand washing is bad enough, but it works.

Gave the trailer and the truck a good wash today in prep for the Bluebonnet Rally tomorrow. The Magic Eraser did a great job on all the bugs.

Didn't help with the yard though. When we got home a few days ago the annual South Texas 'Leaf and Pollen Drop' had occurred. Filled 28 LARGE yard bags with leaves and pollen. Yuck!

We use a Turtle Wax product called Zip Wax when washing after each trip. It contains carnauba wax, which is key (according to ETI). This keeps the gelcoat looking good between twice-yearly waxes.

Hi: rbryan4... Best bug remover is a shake of "Baking soda" on a very wet sponge. Used on new cars and trucks...just off the car carrier. Specially the tailgate of the pickup backed on over the tractor cab!!! Alf

We spent forever trying to get the grime off of the wheel wells at first. No such problem later as we had put 303 Aerospace. Clean wheel wells with wet sponge in five minutes. 303 cannot be used with wax.

Rbryan4,
Trailer and truck sure look nice all squeaky clean. I think there is a unwritten law that states all Escape trailers have to squeaky clean be you can go on any camping adventure. At least that's my feeling. I always have to have a clean trailer and truck at the start of camping trip.

I agree, unfortunately they always seem to get dirty upon the destination arrival.

Another vote for the "Magic Eraser"...

After returning from the Bluebonnet Rally (where the awning was used a lot) I decided I needed to do something to get the nastiness off. A bucket of water and a magic eraser did the trick.

Hi: All... I just finished doing our awning. No magic, no scrubbing bubbles, just LA's Totally Awesome spray from the Dollar Store. Used at least .75 cents worth and a sponge. Alf

When we were making Houdini look brand new before putting him up for sale, the awning was really bad. Alf had told us about Totally Awesome cleaner spray, so Ian found some at the Dollar Store, and used it on the awning. It was truly amazing, and really did make it look as good as new. Alf - you and your awesome cleaner rock!

Hey Alf that totally awesome cleaner works great but did you know they also carry totally awesome degreaser at the Dollar Store. Which I have found works awesome for cleaning bugs off the front of the trailer and it dirt cheap too.

Cheers

The Totally Awesome products are ... totally awesome!! Had a hard water mineral stain on our ceramic bar sink that eluded every attempt I made to eliminate it. On a lark, I purchased some TA from our Dollar Store and sprayed it on ... removed that stain like nothing else. Makes you wonder what's in it ...

I'm taking advice from so many of you, thanks.
Need some more: just picked up some Totally Awesome, but I'm wondering about what dilution ratio people are using.

And good whiskey, and the other night Templeton Rye, and a shot of DeWars ( might not have spelled that right, wasn't seeing so well by then).
