Color of Graphics
We had settled on battleship grey for our graphics but are having a last minute change of heart. Does anyone have forest green? If so, can you post a photo please? Only 9 days until our build sheet is due

To match my RAV4 "Black Forest Green".
How it looks depends on the light falling on it.
First is overcast. Second is sunny side. Third is probably most accurate.

My wife wanted a dark silvery gray but gave in for my choice of scarlet red. Weeelllll, we saw gray at the rally and even I agreed she was right (again)!
Gray will never go out of style.

The color chart we looked at had a Dark Green. The Dark Green does look very blackish (saw it in person) but I like it. We are using a similar color.
I can only suggest that people not sign until the day required because there is always more to consider. We ran out of time. Thank goodness though! That was with more than enough options. We'd still be buying options.

Thanks for posting the photos....very helpful. We were confusing Forest Green with Dark Green from the color card. ETI sent a picture of the Forest Green on a trailer but we are partial to yours...the Dark Green. Build sheet is due in 6 days so we will be deciding soon:-)

To confuse matters, I told ETI what Toyota said was the color of my vehicle - Black Forest Green. They then matched as best they could, which was good.
And, my insurance claims the RAV is green and Toyota service docs say it is black. It is one or the other, or both.

If the exact color is important to you, contact Avery. When I was choosing the red to match my RAV4 I sent them (Avery Graphics) a request for samples of all their reds. They sent 2" X 4" samples that I was able to match to the RAV4.
Viewing the on line version of the color chart depends on your computer monitor - they are all a bit different.

Our Ford F-150 (with Egoboost ) is "bright flame blue." While I think it's super when the tow vehicle matches the toad, we expect our Escape to outlast our tow vehicle. (Might not, but it should.) So, we chose "Berry" for our graphics, because on the color chart it looks way more purple than their "Purple." I think it'll look sharp with the blue tow vehicle, and will surely be different.
Of course, now that the build sheet is in, I've wondered if 10 years from now our graphics will have faded to pink. Oh, my...

The pigment in the graphics is 'lightfast', meaning it's UV fade resistant. Oxide pigments aren't as susceptible to UV fade - they produce the more muddied or rusty colors. Pthalo pigments are highly susceptible to UV fade - they produce the vivid clean colors and fluorescents. So, graphics makers usually coat the sticker with a UV barrier so they ones with vivid color won't fade as fast. But, you can boost that by just treating the trailer with a little 303 from time to time. No fade.
Sorry, just had a flashback to when I was a colorist at a Paint Company...
