I'm thinking that I will use a twin size memory foam topper(have one)on top of the dinette cushions. Then in the morning I will lay it on top of the mattress and make the bed up as usual. No one is the wiser and I will be oober comfortable!

The original pads are too firm for us. We have resorted to 3" of foam on top. We keep it set up as a bed in our 17 so don't have to confront the significant storage issue which arises if we wanted to convert to a dynette. As discussed earlier, two thermarest pads might suffice for comfort and be easier to store.
