Yep. Ranger Duke brought him a Texas Edition badge because Reace saw them on their trip to the Bluebonnet Rally and mentioned he liked them.

By the way, his truck has way more options than the Texas Edition does.

Hi: Zardoz... The on line mag. doesn't cover the current issue. The link I recorded may not be good for your computer. Be careful or pick up a hard copy at your local news stand. Alf

I just picked up a copy at Barnes & Noble.

They had a bunch and I know they just got them in as I called two days ago and they didn't have it in. It'll be my lunch time reading! So, gotta get off the computer now!

I got ours a week ago, Donna. It was nice to see a trailer that would last longer than the payments for once.

As I was flipping through it I read about someone's trailer that wasn't very old and how the mfgr wasn't going to fully reimburse them for split flooring.

Um, yeah, not gonna have to worry about that!

Yeah, and people say an Escape is "too expensive". Buying a trailer from someone who won't back it? Now that's expensive.

Thanks, but see post #23 of this thread 😕. Apparently, for some reason or other, not every computer or tablet can open the full article. That's okay; I already know that Escape makes a great RV. 😛

It's a bit of a hassle but try this link (as in post #4)

http://azsx.co/ebooks/magazines/trai...fe-august-2015

It will show you 3 download links, try them. One of those 3 will give you the full magazine.

You will have to download it.

Have fun!

If you read further in the issue, there's an article about companies that sell factory direct. In the photo for Escape, they show a 5.0TA pulled by white truck (crew cab style) and the trailer says "Escape Hatch xx" on the back - can't quite read all of it. The text gives a bit more info about the 5.0TA, but the photo used is of the 21'.

Ding, ding, ding - we have a winner!

For those not able to download it, just zip over to your local Barnes & Noble and *purchase* a copy. Help support the publication. Too many magazines are going out of business, so why not help support one from time to time. I found other articles to be of interest, so it was worthwhile for me. Heck, I'll probably get a subscription!

Don't know who carries it in Canada. Or other locations in the US - B&N is a few miles from home, so easy to get to for me.

I was out and about this morning and stopped by Barnes & Noble and bought a copy of Trailer Life. I am glad that I subscribed to this magazine as there is a lot of good information in it and a lot of ads for products that we might be interested in. Especially for us newbies. There were three articles mentioning Escape trailers with the main one featuring the 5.0TA. Basically their only negative was the stiff shower hose and the shower being small. In the front was an article written by Bob Livingston, the publisher. He said how he got the factory tour and spent time talking with Reace and Tammy. He also talked with potential buyers and a couple picking up their new Escape. Anybody we know? In the article on factory direct buying, there was good press and a picture of Alf's trailer. I knew right away because of the graphics on his truck. Overall, I think ETI got about as good of press coverage as they could have hoped for. And Alf will probably be getting commission checks.
