Cubby holes on the ‘21
Taking delivery of our ‘21 in the next couple of weeks. Wondering what folks keep in the column of cubby holes by the door entrance. I think there are 4 or maybe 5 cubbies.,All suggestions appreciated.
Thanks!

We keep our 1st Aid Kit in one cubby, so it's very accessible and visible. We also keep some small flashlights and other things we can get to quickly and easily when needed. The cubby holes are very nice to have.

There is so much storage in the 21 you will find you are constantly rearranging. there are 4 cubbies, maybe 5"x7" which can hold a lot of different items. We put slippers in the bottom, plastic bags in one, gloves/hats in one and so on. I'll let you in a secret,, there is space below the 4th cubby for another one, big enough for a couple pair of shoes, you just have to cut it out yourself or ask Escape for it. Not sure what the cost is but I did it in my "Mods to BlackJack" thread.

Well, let's see... I use one for OTC and prescription medicine, as I don't have a medicine cabinet. I use one for containers of liquid hand soap, stain remover, etc. I use the bottom one for cans of WD-40, lubricants, etc., stuff that needs to be kept upright. I have a can of Febreze laying sideways in the very top space below the ceiling. I don't like reaching into that area, though, because I can't see in there beforehand. So I find the cubbies useful; they are filled.

Remotes go in the top one, then keys & flashlights plus a bottle opener, then sun/reading glasses, then sunscreen/repellents. These cubby holes are way more useful than we thought. I am still concerned that they are rather fragile due to the thin panelling but ours are in perfect order so far.

According to the latest pictures that space is still available, not sure if Escape will install one but I plan on picking up an extra cubby as well as a door stop on my pick up trip.

Cubby Holes
Thanks to everyone for your suggestions. I especially like the idea of storing my slippers in a cubby. I had. It not thought of that! All were great ideas which we will look forward to trying out when we get our trailer in the next few weeks! Thanks again! ~ Patricia
