Delivery Date Update

When we placed our order for a 5.0TA in early January, the delivery date was November 20.

On April 11, it moved up about two weeks to November 3.

On Friday it moved up four more weeks to October 5.

Earlier is certainly better, and I am grateful for six weeks, but I guess I was hoping for more from a doubled production capacity.

What are other people seeing?

Placed order for 19' August 2016 and initial delivery was set for end of August 2017. About 5 months ago date was moved up to June 29, 2017 and was told might get to move up again in the spring but that hasn't materialized yet. Would be great in I could move up a couple more weeks to mid June but running out of time for that to happen.

Our completion date was Dec 18th and just moved to Nov 7th as of couple days ago. We're hoping for another bump up. Whether its Nov or Dec, it's going to be difficult to get a weekend of camping in, that time of year.
Hoping to lock in the build sheet soon, so if they do bump up their schedule, then we'll be good to go.

I see Escape cranking-up production to the maximum, while balancing their efforts with quality control. I'm sitting in my room at the Chilliwack Best Western waiting for the orientation for our 5.0 tomorrow afternoon. "All good things come to he who waits." Keep the faith!

By January they were already planning on increased productivity as that was when they started to move into the new shop, yet it was still not in full production for a while. As they see small improvements in production, is when they are likely then letting customers know they can move up if they desire to.

Between now and your new delivery date you may see a few more tweaks in the schedule. They are wise to plan to be a bit further out, and then let folks know if things look better, than give them a date and have to tell them they are getting bumped back.

I waited 17 months as I wanted to have a 2017 model 5.0TA.

They also have to hire and train people.
My brother-in-law, with a business in Chilliwack, says ETI has a permanent help wanted ad in the local paper.

when we placed our order for 19' in September last year, the delivery date is Nov 6, 2017, then it moved to mid October, then early October, and it just got moved to August 23.. we are still hoping we will get moved up a little (so we can take delivery while the kid is in summer vacation) but we are pretty happy about the new date.

We ordered our 19 foot on 3/29/17 with a 12/13/17 completion date. Just got notice last Friday that we're bumped up to 10/30. Yippee! And it sounds like from these posts there might be a good chance of getting bumped up again! Want my trailer! Want it now!

Escape 19

I put my order in around October 2016. Had October 2017 delivery date originally. Got word on Friday that the date had been moved up to Sept 7th.

We do not know that they have doubled production, do we, or have they said that? That was their intention. They wanted to move a long time ago and finally did. They were taking in lots more orders all of this time also. If your date has moved up twice, no telling if it might move again. They are having to come up with a schedule according to their building line. It is all being done differently now and they probably have to figure it out themselves. They don't want to move people up and then find that they have to move them out again.

And the woman who checked us into the Best Western told us that her that a co-worker's son got a job at ETI and, "he wasn't allowed to keep it." She added, "ETI has very high expectations from their employees." Customer Service + good employees + top notch product = successful business. Who woulda thought?
