Electrical panel cover
Standing in my 2009 19 yesterday when the electrical panel cover flopped down. pushed it back up and it wouldn't latch. Anyone else have a problem like this?
Hopefully I'll only have to replace the cover.

Don't know if we're talking the same, but on my 17, you pull on the tab and turn it 90 degrees to latch the cover. Spring pulls the tab tight to the cover.

On the 2009 19, you push to latch, and push again to unlatch. The mechanism is in the cover. I hope the cover is available separately.

Mine just started doing that this spring. I think the latch is pooched. The latch is integral with the cover it seems, and the whole cover would have to be replaced to change it. I am thinking of gluing in some kind of magnetic catch, just have not got around to it.

The hinge pin on my cover broke a few months ago. I emailed the company and they promptly sent me a new cover, no questions asked.

Good to hear, Ben. I might just try that route first.

The door on my electric panel would occasionally open enroute on our 2010 19 so I screwed a small piece of metal, about 1/2" by 3/4" into the metal box over the door. The metal would hang down over the door until I would rotate it to allow the door to drop open when released. That worked fine, but no pictures until I need to do the same on my 21. Maybe if I went around corners more slowly the results would be the same.

Thanks for the suggestions!
I'll try the manufacturer first as Ben suggested. If necessary I will use the magnet idea or the metal clip as suggested by azack

Just talked to John at WFCO, the manufacturer. No questions asked, he is sending me a new cover in the mail. Excellent service.

Just received the part in the mail from WFCO. It's not the door assembly as I expected. It's just the small latch that fits into the fascia. Glad I didn't toss the door. After breaking out the old latch and inserting the new one, all is well!

inverter door
I found two small round magnets glued them on both sides of cover and housing it solved the problem.
