Escape 19 vs Escape 21
I'm with Loren on this one. Towing near your TV's maximum capacity could be frustrating and could impact its longevity. But get the trailer you want (if you can afford it) and upgrade the TV later. Reasons we went with the 21:
Much larger water tank for dry camping
Storage space
Wider aisle (when cooking you can get by one another easily)
More living space for when our trailer serves as grand central during family camp outs or when we camp with our grandchildren
At most campsites we use, the trailer is backed in and the best view us there. We are so thrilled to have this great view at breakfast in our new Escape 21
Our 2005 Tundra has a 7000 lb tow rating and tows this Escape very nicely. With a 5000 lb rating a person would have to take the slow lane and crawl up steep hills with the trucks.
