Escape 21warm shoulder on cold nights

If you anticipate near freezing weather and are lucky to be sleeping on the drivers side of the bed against the wall, simply remove the rear dinette backrest and slide it between the mattress and the wall...it fits perfect and insulates well.

Seems like a good and simple idea. You guys must be out in the boonies somewhere!!

In our 19 we had many nights below freezing and we just used a set of cozy warm blankets and stayed away from touching the wall. There is more room on a queen bed though.

I’ll be sleeping on the dinette table (when it’s down); Haha; with a large Therm-a-rest pad topper.

She kicks the mattress, tosses, turns, and doesn’t sleep well. 54” wide beds don’t allow for that much movement, so I’m going to the 48” wide bed, and have me a good nights sleep. Might even bring my electric blanket, when it’s cold.

Chilly dry camping

Since we almost always dry camp and when temperatures drop into the low thirties we leave the water heater on at night providing some below bed warm and preventing water line freezing...it worked well for our eight years of camping in our 19 and now I have extra insulation for my back with the dinette backrest in place.
