The Escape 5.0 is a tandem axle unit I don’t know if the ever produced a single axle unit ........... if you a single axle 5th wheel you’ll need to go the scamp route

Prior to producing the tandem axle Escape 5.0TA, Escape produced a single axle Escape 5

The very first Escape 5.0 was purchased by Ian and Paddy Waymark in January 2007. The very last produced is owned by Not So Big Al and picked up about the 2nd or 3rd week of April 2014.

Hi Adrian
I ran into a Corps of Engineers Ranger from Illinois who was kicking himself for not following up on a 5.0 that he saw for sale last fall. Said he should have made an offer instead of making the guy take his for sale sign down.

Hi Alf
When I saw that T.A, pic all I could think of was Z.Z. Top Sharp Dressed Man.
We had a night superintendent at the pack who asked the night kill foreman when we’d be getting done one Friday night. The foreman said “We’re not running full speed, I let too many people off for that concert tonight.”
“What concert is that?” The night supt. asked?
“Oh, that Easy Top deal down at the convention center.” He said.
Have a good one

In addition to the clarification of Escape models...

The Scamp 19' is a single-axle trailer (about the size of an Escape 5.0), but it isn't actually a fifth-wheel: it has a coupler for a ball, instead of a pin box for a fifth-wheel hitch (like an Escape 5.0 or 5.0TA). Some owners have converted theirs to fifth-wheels, which I think is amusing because it is now popular for Escape 5.0TA owners to convert their trailers to use a ball!
