Re: Escape Calendar

Wahoooo, I just got today a very nice belated Christmas gift.... Just in time upon our return from Germany! Thank you Tammy and Reace!! The calendar is awesome, and needless to say, it is up now. Another Wahoooo is that the wait for "Cafe Egg" does not sound THAT long anymore, with at least the current year being the same as the hatching and delivery year!......

Re: Escape Calendar

Alf, I think we visited with you the day before you put the 5.0 away last fall. Time does fly by. We will pick up our 19’ on May 7th in Sault Ste. Marie a long with Paul and Gerda. Hope your trailer wasn’t too much of a target for the pigeons over the winter.

Re: Escape Calendar

Hi: Bob120... Yepper you're right. Funny thing about Pigeons they don't seem to like the inside of the vinyl Cover-All building!!! To warm?? I like that too!!! They do sit on my bro-in-laws TV tower and aim for his monster 5th. Larger target I suppose.
I'm going to lend him my Owl statue for him to tie to the top o' the mast.
Have a great trip to the Sault and stop in if you come back I75 to Pt. Huron then 402 to 401 at London. I know you will be in a hurry home tho!!! Alf
escape artist N.S. of Lake Erie p.s. maybe we can camp together during the season.

Re: Escape Calendar

Speaking of the Escape Calendar....

Remember I will be more than happy to accept some photos from this upcoming season for the 2011 Escape Calendar! So while everyone is beginning to head out for the upcoming season remember to pack a camera.

I will accept all photos but please try to exclude people in the photo.
Take the photo in a high resolution so the print quality will be high.
Tell me who took the picture and where.

Aull submissions will be accepted with the understanding that Escape Trailer Industries has the copy right permission from the photographer....

I am hoping to work on some new brochures and update the website.

Thank you everyone and I hope you have a great Easter Weekend.

Re: Escape Calendar

Tammy:
I think the calendar is great with really good photos, and I proudly hang it in my office. One thought though...it's a bit large to hang in the trailer. Might a slightly smaller one be worth considering.

Tammy, that will be an easy task to bring my digital camera... The Escape Debutante Ball will be a first great outing to take pics. Three trailers in one place, hehe! I cannot wait!! Cafe Egg turned out GREAT!!

Re: Escape Calendar

Hint to budding photographers: Make it a picture of your trailer, not your tow vehicle.

And try not to include time stamps on your submissions.

Tammy: While pictures of people posing in front of their trailer are pretty boring, I can see how people actively enjoying the benefits of their trailer might look good on the calendar. It would need to be a very good picture, though.

I am looking for opportunities: I want to have my trailer in next year's calendar. I love my calendar, and it kicked my old favorite out of the place of privilege in the kitchen.

Re: Escape Calendar

I think any photo of the trailer being put to good use, and of high resolution, could fit the bill. Yeah, no time stamps for sure, they are really unnecessary with digital photos as the time is recorded in the EXIF file of every shot anyway.

Personally, I like the look of the trailer and tow vehicle together, as it gives it a bit of scale. There is good potential for the combo on the move.

I too think that people in the shot can be quite interesting too, mostly if they are involved in an activity, like doing something at a picnic table. Posing in front of the unit, not so much.

I will try to remember to submit this year too. I let time slip by last year.

I think it would be interesting to have a bit of a contest with it, maybe the members here could vote. Tammy could use maybe the top 8, then add their discretion to the remaining photos so that they would best fit what they would want. Just a thought.

Yes, quite. But the TV should not dominate - and that is difficult to achieve since we tend to take pictures of the front.

Re: Escape Calendar

Hello Everyone,

Cut off for the 2011 Escape Calendar will be the end of September, so if anyone has photos sitting around that they have taken and thought of submitting now is the time.

Remember if you submit a photo and we use it in the calendar we will send you a calendar for free.

Otherwise I will have calendars available for sale for $10.00

Re: Escape Calendar

Hi Tammy,

Sure I have photos to share! How large do you want them? All the pictures on this forum I shrinked, but I can send you some via e-mail!

BTW, I am truly in love with Cafe Egg! It is just soooo easy to escape during weekends!

Gerda

Re: Escape Calendar

Tammy, if the photo I sent of Escapei parked at Mt. Rainer on our way home is suitable, by all means use it in your calendar.

Regards

Re: Escape Calendar

Tammy:

Perhaps the all the people who have ordered and are on the list for delivery should get a calendar to help those long months pass by more easily. Or would that just be a form of torture? Waterboarding anyone?
