That certainly is an interesting unit. I would love to give one a try. With a weight of 1,650 kg (3630 lb), assumed to be dry, it would be easy to tow.

For those who want to escape further from the crowds, right past the end of the road!

The weight isn't bad for owners of trucks and big SUVs, but it is a higher when you include the trailer it needs to sit on. The spec says 2300 kg (5100 pounds)

How about not having to unload the trailer?

Hah! Headed your way on Saturday. Staying at Blue Angels RV Park beginning Sunday. The weather should clear out by then.

Hi: JStelly... TV Weather channel showed an RV bottoms up. Headed to the Women's for the "Hurricane party". Standing room only with all the wet dogs. Music and songs and some folks brought chairs. We only stayed till the All clear was given... We're still in the "Blow dry cycle" and there's white caps on the lake. Better by the weekend. Alf

We were thinking of going over to Blue Angel on Sunday and staying for three nights - temps expected to be in the low 70s make it look good. We usually stay at Anchor Cove but thought we would try out Battleship Row this time. Hope to see you there.

Update: I just called and Battleship Row is filled, (never seen that before) - so we're re-thinking the whole thing.

Wow, I just checked Big Lagoon and Blackwater River State Parks and they both have sites available - but Blue Angel Battleship Row doesn't - that doesn't make sense, (except maybe the monthly renters are filling it up)?

I'm glad I made my reservation a couple of months ago (we are planners!). We are in Battleship Row and hoping for good weather.

Well I hope you guys are happy down there in the southern warmth, you sent all that nasty weather up north here, we have a tornado watch until 11 pm tonite, high winds and a lot of rain. Also a flood watch for those near streams.

TAG...your turn!

I hope it turns out as well for you as it did at our house - four inches of rain but no damage. The rain we can handle.

Hi: cpaharley2008... No "Southern warmth" left here. The storms blew it all away. 55*F with 50mph wind gusts!!! Low tonite in the 30's. Lots of condensation on the windows this am. Alf

The condensation on your windows would be like welcome rainfall in CA. It's been a way too dry and a way too warm February . Hope you all stay safe through the severity of your winters!
