A difficulty in building questions for this poll is really that it is asking three things: would you buy an RV again, if so would be an Escape, and if not why not - that makes for too many combinations, unless the answers are limited to just two extremes per question. Few people will find an extreme answer works for them, so many people will not be able to choose an answer.

It would probably work better to ask one question at a time. Of course even then, the question would only be relevant for some forum members, but that's okay.

I also don't understand why this poll is in this section of the forum (Forum Help | Announcements | Suggestion Box), as it is not about the forum.

You seem to know a lot about polls. Care to create one that "works better"? I'm all for it.

No, thanks. It's nice that the vBulletin software (the basis of this forum) supports easy-to-create polls, but it doesn't have the functionality that would make a survey to collect this combination of inter-dependent information practical... it does not appear to be intended for that.

Not sure what happens to polls. I did a search, using the word "poll" and got about a dozen hits. Most were linked to the same two polls, and there was only the one page.
Not sure there is any point to a poll that disappears shortly after being created.

I don't understand the term "inter-dependent information". It never arose in any courses I took in research methodology.

As far as "practical" goes, the purpose of polls is to harvest information. Some of course are better than others at doing this. Mine was has been subjected to a fair amount of criticism. That part I really could care less about. It's just a poll. An obviously over simplistic one at that. If I had constructed a sophisticated poll and tested it for statistical content validity before posting it - more than likely it would have been criticized for being to obtuse. Pretty funny really.

If someone will not buy another Escape, then they are asked why not, but if they will, they are not asked. Collection of information depends on other provided information; it is inter-dependent.

I didn't criticize the poll; I just mentioned why I thought it was a difficult type of survey to construct.

Ah, terms like "validity" and "reliability" bring back memories of University courses.

Simple poll, yes, but if you ever walked around a rally or gathering of Escape owners and asked yourself that question about other owners it's likely you'd be pretty close to those results. No real surprise in the results but thanks for taking the time to do the poll.

Wow, must be the heat. I’m kind of mad that the nice lady by the door didn’t put a little sticker on my lapel that says “I voted”. Reminds me when I worked around horses. The only thing I knew to say was “Easy big fella”. Never got kicked though so must have worked.
