Sounds like you are in my neck of the woods. Are you camping locally?

Kirk, We will be staying at Orange Grove in March, on our way to Dead Horse SP, AZ. The reviews are great for Orange Grove, but we have never stayed there. I hope your overnight meets your expectations!
Cheers

Ok, have not stayed there myself but have passed by it several times. It seems like a nice park. You’ll be getting some rain overnight but snow levels are expected to remain above the Tehachapi Pass level. Safe travels!

Steve, enjoy your upcoming stay and check out this place right around the corner from the park if time allows. Lots of free samples!

Steve and Greg,
Orange Grove has has been a stop on our winter trip for the past 5 years. Love the self-pick oranges, and dates and other goodies at the Fruit Depot that Greg mentioned.
Coming south from BC, this is usually the first stop where we get some sunny dry weather. Damp and foggy in the morning today, but the sun came out this afternoon and dried things out. (the breeze helped too!).
In March, you either get the end of the orange picking, or the smell of the orange blossoms. Enjoy your stay.
The photo is from an earlier visit.

Kirk and Greg!
Excellent! We will arrive early and enjoy the Fruit Depot and ‘maybe’ self-pick oranges!
MMMmmmMmmmmmm... The purpose of our trip is to visit a dear friend in Sedona who is recovering from some serious health issues. A fresh gift basket may be in order

When we were towing our offroad trailer thru the pass we will usually stop at the fruit depot next to Orange grove RV park, and thought maybe one day we should try to stay there when we have 4 walls and a roof on our trailer.. because, picking oranges off the trees next to you sounds like fun.
So last year right before Christmas we finally get to drag the 19 over the pass and somehow we missed the sign/exit that we usually took to get to the fruit depot.. and did not see the RV park.. we drove another 20 min or so to stay at the brite valley aquatic park campground instead.
There will be next time.

This morning at around 11:45 I saw a red pickup pulling an Escape 19 in red trim traveling westbound on I-10 east of Tallahassee. The truck had an inverted green canoe on top. I was headed east to Orlando for the weekend, without my trailer.

We're currently in Organ Pipe National Monument. Last night, in the non-generator section, I counted three 17', one 19', two 21' and two 5.0's (including ours). There are also a number of Scamps and Casita's.
Enjoy,
Perry

Sighting
That’s not a sighting, that’s a flock! I’d call it an Escapextravaganza.

Tuesday evening an Escape 19 joined us at Davis Bayou campground near Ocean Springs, MS. Cheryl and I visited with Joe and Jean, a very nice couple from Minnesota. Found out we would both be at Buccaneer SP later this week.

Ft. Griffin: That was us. We spent 4 days in the park and saw the 21 footer returning from fishing, but didn't see anyone outside with whom to visit. Didn't realize this was the famous Vermilye!
