Mini Escape rally!
We pulled into Anisinabe Park, city of Kenora ON on beautiful Lake of the Woods on Saturday to find two x 21's there already. We were parked just up from them for two nights overlooking the lake, a great spot.

Escape Fest
Went to Wenatchee Confluence River Park last week and while there saw a 15, 17, 19 and of course our 21. Met "Rick" who had prior owned a 19 and 21 also. Viewed other fiberglass rv's while on the road as well. Fun!

Maroon Chevy truck with a 5.0 fifth wheel with red grapics, stopped at a Shell gas station about 50 miles North of Kansas City, Missouri. At the intersection of Interstate 35 and MO 36. We were the ones waving wildly and pulling an Escape 21!

What You were within 250 miles and didn’t stop in? I’m hurt. Hope you’re having a great time and writing a daily log. The one last year was very well done. Safe traveling.

Almost sighting. I got here to Grayland Beach State park yesterday, the same day the Escape my friends noticed left! So I missed you, whoever you were.

Hi Peter!
That had to be us. Sorry we didn’t see you. Still on our return trip home from Osoyoos, at a nice COE campground on Lake Mark Twain in MO. This is our first rainy day in a month. Will be back home in a week after two months on the road.

What are the odds! We thought about making a U-turn and meeting up with the 5.0. Now I wished we had. Hope to see you at the Niagara rally.

Dave,
Sorry this trip did not include you. I finally reached my retirement date and Nancy and I left after only five days for a two month trip to the Rocky Mountains. Hope to see you at the Niagara Rally and we are definitely planning to stop in next year on our way to Osoyoos.

Hi Peter,
We will be north and west of Fort Collins for the Rocky Mountain Rendezvous again this year.
There are lots of nice Forest Service campgrounds up that way. We will be at Niagara in September. A guy sent me plans for under bed storage that I cobbled together. Once I corrected the plans I have been selling them for a few bucks for beer money. See you in September.

Second day at KOA Lynden and there's a 817 Silver 21 on the other side of the pond. Appears to be new. Owners are probably out enjoying the surrounding scenery. This is one beautiful campground and I thank David Murphy for recommending this spot. Leave for Moab in the morning.

Just spotted a brand new looking 19 towed by a orange Tacoma with Utah plates setup for the weekend at Nairn Falls.

Saw a 5.0 with bright green graphics and a white Tundra TV today at the Dungeness campground near Sequim. Nobody was around so they were probably out for a walk down the beach. I'll try to say hello tomorrow around noon when I'm back in the area.

Saw several escapes & other fiberglass trailers during my drive back from the head waters of the salmon today. Very excited when I saw a 21 turn down the road to my place in boise.

Last Sunday, June 30 about 1:30 as we were heading home from a family get together, towing our 21 northbound on I-35 just south of Owatonna, MN I was concentrating on traffic (lots of semis all morning) and some pretty wild crosswinds (not a fun combo) looking for the Owatonna exit and lo and behold, I glanced in my driver's rearview mirror to see - AN ESCAPE. (We have never before seen one on the road in Minnesota while towing ours.) I announced it to my wife and daughter and as they passed us we got a two thumbs up (out her open window) from the passenger, and Clara and Sarah reciprocated with big waves. It was a 21 towed by a white Chevy (Sarah thought a Tahoe) with Texas license. Pretty fun!
