Escape 19 - Hwy 58 Eastbound in Mohave CA

Passed an Escape 19 yesterday on Hwy 58 in Mohave CA that was heading eastbound. We were traveling westbound towards Tehachapi Pass.

17B

Saw this 17B encamped in site 118 at Thomson causeway today. And I saw three turtles too.
Two were near the turtle crossing sign. I did not know they could read to know where to cross. Saw a muskrat too, he had a chartreuse crossing guard safety belt on and was going for the shift change at the turtle crossing. I think he was whistling the Captain and Tennille’s “Muskrat Love.”

We took our new 5.0 on a four state 1000 mile trip and didn't see a single Escape. Furthermore, I've been aware of Escape for 5 years and have never seen one on the road. They're getting more popular in Texas I hear but I've never seen one. We get a lot of reactions about ours everywhere we go.

We saw you in Arroyo Grande yesterday! Who ever you are, you were heading north on Oak Park Boulevard, pulling with a dark gray pickup. The two Escape owners in this town were both surprised! we didn't know if you were coming from nearby PIsmo Beach or heading home from acquiring a new Escape beauty.

Ran into a fellow 21 owner refueling at the gas station in Madras, OR on Thursday and got the chance to say a quick hello. There was also another 21 parked across from us at Tumalo State park all weekend. No one home when we were in camp, unfortunately.

We had a sighting in Peter Ds RV Park-Sheridan WY of a 21C, while we were stylin in our new 21NE. Enjoyed the visit!
No Escapes here in stormy Custer SD but we had a Casita and a Scamp around the bend in our RV Park.

Not a sighting but…we took a car driving vacation last week from Houston to Amelia Island, Florida on Interstate 10. On the return west Friday and Saturday we counted license plates from 34 different states! People are clearly traveling again.

Escape 21 - Crescent City, California

Passed this nice looking Escape 21 heading North on route 199, just South of the California - Oregon border. Looks like it was being pulled by a chocolate brown Ford, F150.
We were heading into Crescent City with our Silver Ford, F150, and Escape 21.

Here is a dash camera picture we were able to capture!

Spotted this combo on local Vancouver CTV news for a Covid story. No idea when the footage was shot.

Bullard's Beach State Park - June 10-12

Spent two nights at Bullard's Beach State Park in Oregon and there were three other Escapes in the park.

2015 - 19
2020 - 17b
What looked to be a new 19 will Illinois license plates

Left the park on 6/12 and saw another 17 off of 101 in Coo's Bay area

Later that day we saw another 19 with light blue decals on the north side of Eugene (around rt 569 and 99).

Maybe this is the norm out in the Pacific Northwest Really looking forward to having one of those Convoy experiences while we are here.

I lived North of Seattle my entire life and would see a fiberglass trailer once in awhile in my adult years.
Mostly Shamps and Cassita. Now I see one a week since I bought one.

The pacific NW - I 5 corridor is a popular place for them and a direct line to the factory.

It’s a target rich environment.

I saw a map of Escape owners some where and it showed the largest population of 15 a and bs where along I 5.

Happy Hunting.

They are out and about...

Came upon two smaller Escapes (one was a 15, could not confirm the other - either another 15 or a 17) on WY26 turning into the Museum of Military Vehicles outside of Dubois, WY yesterday. A bit later saw a 19 northbound on 89 in Grand Teton park.

Alf! You may be right! I'm no expert in trucks and we only saw this one for a second as it passed us. We had time to flash our lights and wave. I'm sure the driver was wondering what was going on.
It's Father's day weekend and the Oregon Coast is mobbed. We found a quiet RV park outside of Newport and are keeping out of sight until Monday.
