With that high roof bulge and small vertical taillights it appears to be a Casita.

You have yourself to thank for the E19 sighting on Iowa 30, Iowa Dave. We were working our way towards Swede Point park in Madrid to bike the High Trestle trail and Raccoon River Valley trails. We saw you rolling eastbound. Having a good time roaming through Iowa and appreciate all of your suggestions.

We were only on Highway 30 from Tama to just east of Newhall, a total of maybe 35 miles. Otherwise we would not have seen one another. Glad to hear you got the maps and are enjoying the trails and sights in our fair state. Hope you’ve had a good Pork tenderloin somewhere, an ice cream cone and a Red Delicious Apple, a descendent of the original Iowa parent tree, a chance seedling in Iowa’s movie inspiring Madison County, and boyhood home of Marion Morrison, John Wayne. And yes, the English teachers did mark up my writing for “Run-on sentences”. Never laid a glove on me.

East bound Escapes

Our E19 (at pump) discovered an E5.0 (at curb) at 11:30 CDT, Wednesday Oct 20, 2021, at the Loves truck stop (#700 - Exit 404/Loop 467) just east of Sonora, TX along I-10. Glad to see the E5.0 in action and to meet its friendly resident owners.

I was at Craters of the Moon National Monument visitor center this afternoon, and saw another 5.0 being pulled by a white truck go past on the road above...

Had to be me. I was traveling up to TN to a fishing hole I like. I enjoy traveling the Trace. Stayed at the NPS Merriweather Lewis campground that nite.

RV Magazine - E17 in picture

RV Magazine, Nov 2021 edition, in article "Flight Path" by Erika Klein, page 24, has an Escape 17' in the image behind the hang glider. The E17 tow vehicle is silver, small wagon maybe, but I cannot tell the model. Location is in Utah. The author's RV is the 26' Jayco Grayhawk Class C.

Highway 76 in California 20 miles west of Julian. Escape headed the other way. Narrow windy road. Could not make out any details, passed to fast. It was a bumper pull.

We had planned on the Trace late Oct / early Nov, but when I got so sick we bragged it for now. It’s a fun trip.

We are in the Fort Worden campground at Port Townsend WA and there is another E19 down the way, light green graphics, red TV, a word in Cyrillic on the front rock shield. Neither of us has ventured out to meet yet as the winds have been in excess of 30mph and rainfall overnight was over one inch. Hopefully we can say hello later today if things calm down a bit. In the mean time this is a delightful storm - if you're into NW winter storms like we are.

Safe travels through the holidaze to all!
