Yep. We were there! Then camping next to an identical twin in Tucson and then to the Florida Keys. Picked up trailer September 16 and now have 14,000 miles on it. Wheels are presently cooling off in Idaho. Home again.

Met a really nice couple from Portland who had an Escape 19 at Indian Cove campground, Joshua Tree, a few days ago.

Had a brief chat.... I don't remember their names. I actually don't think we exchanged names.

Only Escape we saw in the (very beautiful) Joshua Tree area.

Meet "Escape-arooski" on the John Day Fossil highway. Totally forgot their names, but maybe they will stop lurking here and introduce themselves. Nice couple (that's them in the background).

Also waved at Jan and Paul "Le Bon Oeuf" in the Maryhill State Park.

Most likely that was me! I was just told about this post at the Spring NOG. I have a "naked" 21, pulled by a blue crew max Tundra. I don't remember seeing another Escape next to me though. I might have been napping, if it was me.

Coming home from Spring NOG saw "Ollie's Trolley" and a Casita right behind 'em. I kind of flew past them as my truck was so excited to get on a straight road without curves and some speed to it (I was in Coos Bay previous to the rally, so yeah, tired of twisty roads). This was at I5 just after you leave the Corvallis area.

I was also on my way to a rest stop north of Albany as I was hungry, hungry, hungry. I believe I sat next to Ollie's parents at the potluck Saturday night as I recognized the driver.

Passed a 5.0TA farther north with gold decals. Around about the area where Mt St Helens explosion's mud river took out the bridge over I5. White truck maybe, but don't quote me on that.

Saw a 19 with red graphics heading south on I5, but forget where now.

We've Been Spotted

Three times!

Old Fulicas friends in Lo De Marcos, Mexico, saw us first. Then Steve Clark saw us just north of the Grape Vine on the I5. And finally BC Nomad got us at the 7 Feathers.

Crystal and I had a wonderful 4 months travelling mainland Mexico this year. We went as far as Zihuatanejo, with many other amazing spots visited. We found the mainland way better than Baja. Better roads, friendlier people and the cost of living was way cheaper. We're already booked in for 4 months this coming winter!

We'll be steaming down the I5 in early October so keep an eye out for us!

Hi BC Nomad! We walked by "Lightening" in the evening to say hello but as you weren't outside didn't want to intrude! Maryhill was certainly beautiful yesterday!

5.0TA and bumper pull heading East on I-90

Going into work this morning heading West on I-90. I saw a transport rig heading East around Bozeman Montana, with a new 5.0TA and I believe a 19. I was more focused on the 5.0TA.

So if you are expecting a new Escape you now know where your trailer was at 7:45 this morning!

Escape 15 pulled by a white truck (we were going opposite direction so went by so quick)

Around 2-3pm this afternoon going south bound on the Trans Canada Highway - Vancouver Island enroute Victoria direction.

Safe and happy travels to you!

Escape 19 Sighting - I-85 South near Exit 8

We passed an Escape 19 with Arizona plates pulled by a red truck below Charlotte, NC around 12:15 pm Saturday April 29th. We both waved.

Spotted a 19 with Washington plates while I was sitting in line at the Sumas border crossing a couple of weeks ago. I was thinking to myself how popular they're becoming and then I look over to the commercial crossing, behind the fencing and two more Escapes were loaded on a flatdeck trailer heading for new homes!

Hi: Kent... I think the 5.0TA is headed to Connecticut. Almost there by now. Alf

Look what just pulled in beside us in Banff today. A brand new 17 and on the other side near sunset last night.

Sorry Eric, we didn't stop. We spent a couple of days there at the famous Lake Louise Hotel back in '78. The 17 that pulled in beside us at Banff was Gerry and Theresa from Edmonton, their first trip out other than the pick up from Escape last month.
