Hey Neighbor!
I towed our 17B without any weight distribution or sway control devices with a Chev Trailblazer - about the same weight & probably a little shorter wheelbase - with no problems.
Keep your eyes open - there's lots of Escapes heading south from Chilliwack on I-5...

Our Escape 21 was the 901st Escape. That's what Kim told us when we picked it up on July 21.

Hmm, #901 in July...........our 21 build was started first week of this August and the VIN ends in #906. I wonder it that's assigned in sequence and not by model.

Ours was 806 and completed on Jan 2. Now we know how many Escapes are out there. We saw 3 in our 9700 mile trip from NC to Chilliwack and back between April 26 and July 2.

Hi: All... VIN.# 891/ May 1. Is there rhyme or reason? The only Escape I see on a regular basis is ours... sitting at home!!! Alf

Hello kstock11,
Just curious if you were the NC folks that ordered the5.0TA just ahead of us.We pickup Sept 8th& leaving from Greensboro. It's very exciting to see a growing number Escapes here in NC.Since this is our first trip cross country any info. you care to share will be appreciated. We plan to travel the northern route via I-90.I think that makes 4 Escapes in our state?Best wishes.

I imagined the lucky owner will get one fine sendoff party at pickup!

Sent ETI an inquiry as to whether or not the sequential VIN pattern is in fact true. No answer yet.

I'm confused with the reference to me. I haven't posted on this thread, but if Serial No. is VIN then I'm 204.

I just checked my # 831 and my date was Nov 2013, I wonder if there is a different sequence for different models, 21 vs 19, 17 ??

We actually picked up a 19', not a 5.0. We also kept to I90 to I94 and back to I90. We wanted to go further north, but kept to that route due to the chance of snow in April. (We still had two days driving in snow!) From Asheville, we divided the trip as follows: Indianapolis (495 mi), Eau Claire (498 mi), Bismarck (548 mi), Billings (427 mi), Spokane (554 mi) and Chilliwack (407 mi). We took 9 weeks returning through WA, OR, CA, NV, AZ, UT, CO, NM, TX, LA, MS, AL, TN, and NC! 3000 miles out, 6700 back. Great trip with a great trailer!

Just curious Kevin, since you drove out on I90 and I94, guess you didn't see anything right

I know when we head south from our place on I29 as far as Fargo there's nothing to see, oh, maybe because it's very flat and nothing but farm fields and few trees We only moved here from Southern ON last summer and we get excited now when we see a hill even if it's an overpass or underpass approach!

Just to get this back on track, here in MB there's only three Escapes that I know of, and south of us, the owners map show none in ND or SD so our chances of seeing another Escape close to home is minimal, unless you go elsewhere like I did to last year's Niagara Wine Escape.

Close enough...

At the Lynden Fair today, I noticed a dude with an Escape Trailer Industries shirt (actually, I noticed his camera first). Being the shy and retiring person I am, I marched right up and introduced myself. Turns out it was Brian of "Ladybug" fame. Almost as good as seeing an Escape!

We've been travelling all over BC for the last two weeks and haven't seen one Escape. Where is everyone?

I'm in Mara Lake BC. Just outside of Enderby.
Whispering Pines private camp ground. Just left Okanagan North Provincial after a two week stay. I haven't seen one Escape in the last month.
