It's almost fifty degrees (F) here in B'ham and the roads are clear of snow and just wet now. It doesn't take warm wet rain long to do away with snow. Don't know about farther north up into Chilliwack but I wouldn't count them out yet.

Temperature is hovering around freezing with rain/freezing rain, the trees are loaded down and some are losing big branches. We have quite a few large trees around us and all I'm hearing is ice and small branches falling. Good night to stay inside and away from the windows. Tomorrow it should warm up, Chilliwack side roads are a mess we had 4 or 5 cars stuck by us.

Charlie's customer here. Sitting in the BW at Chilliwack hoping that the forecast of 7 high and 4 low for tomorrow is accurate. We'll see what ETI has to say in the morning. Bound to be better than today - truck was coated with 1.5 cm of ice this am. Worst case, we hang around here for a few more days. Since we're both retired, there's no place we have to be and no time we have to be there.

Portland, Oregon area is under a flood watch. The Pineapple Express is hitting. Lots of rain, mud slides and roads under water. Wherever you're traveling and wherever you're going... just be safe!

Thursday was a pretty miserable day in Chilliwack, although we did manage a trip to Burnaby to pick up a Brahma Wheel Lock for the trailer. Woke up Friday to some actual intermittent sunshine, went to our orientation as scheduled, and are now cozily ensconced in our new 21 at Bellingham RV Park, on our way to Portland to pick up stuff at RV Widget Works and visit friends, then head south till we get warm. Must be true escapists, as we've already started a list of mods we think we need.

Good for you! How long are you taking to get back to NM? Seeing sights on the way?

Stan, what has been your favorite gadget from RV Widget Works? Glad to hear you made it safe out of the snow with your trailer.

Has anyone mounted an Anderson Hitch to a snow cat? Standard fifth wheel? What is your preference?

Nothing more than a couple of dustings here in Kansas. Almost new commercial snow blower sits unused for the third winter in a row. Lots of grass fires. Loren

If you had not bought it you would be buried now. It seems like it always goes that way.
