Escape Trailers vs The Elements
Well after 2 days with severe thunderstorms and hail the trailer is unscathed, vents, gelcoat and everything else. Escape builds one strong trailer unlike some of the other dented ones. This little gem was picked up about 25 minutes after the storm went through and I had checked the trailer.
Cheers

I heard that. I don't think any trailer could have survived our recent hailstorms undamaged. Luckily, ours is sheltered. The truck didn't fare as well.

Glad all is well, Doug. Do you have solar? I have been wondering how it holds up during a hail storm.

Hi Lucy
Yes we have solar, that's one thing I didn't worry about as the glass on top is tempered which makes it many times stronger then regular glass.

Along those same lines, we have a friend who lives about 2 miles from us, and who has several solar panels on his roof. His neighborhood was hit hard by baseball sized hail during our recent 'disaster'. Cars had all their windows destroyed and large diameter dents caved in their roofs and hoods, siding on homes had gaping holes, and the whole area sustained major damage.
His solar panels were not damaged except for a few nicks. They must make them pretty stout.

Thanks! Good to know the solar panels hold up.
