Yes, anyone with an account can totally change the map - anything they want (or do unintentionally.) We had a go with that a year or two ago with people changing colors.

Basically your Name and year and trailer model.

Note: All info is public. And ANYONE with an account can change it.
Another note: Apostrophes and quotation marks don't work.

Info needed:
Name - As you want it to appear
Description - Whatever you want - see the map for what others have done
Model - 5, 13, 15, 17, 19, or 21
Location - where you want the pin, it can be located very precisely if you provide the actual location

I have a Google account which I just signed into to look for baloons on their map. How do you find the Escape baloons online, on the map? I couldn't do it.

This forum - click "Owner's Map" at the top.

You and Nancy are on it, Dave and Cheryl aren't.

But, if someone does not want an account, there are lots here that would post their details on the map if they like.

Oh, that. Thanks, I got it now. --I'd gone to the Google Maps on my internet home page online thinking that big thing would also have the Escape baloon locations.

Wondering now why Dave and Cheryl are not posted.

I guess with posting on the internet, here and other forums, I don't have these concerns. There is nothing I ever post that I would care that anyone see, from friends to big brother. I have heard complaints on Facebook, but not with Google.

We do all have to have our own level of comfort met though.

It's the general principle of not connecting where I don't have to, for better computer security. And Google is well, well, known in the industry for having arguably the best search algorithms, and excellent information retrieval functionality.
That being said, I just found out that my lovely, talented wife has multiple google accts. So, I guess we'll be pinning the map soon.

Edit: pinned.
Just noticed that the next one north is in Cambria rather than Los Osos (unless the bears ("Osos") decided to migrate).

Click the map to see it larger. Zoom and center. Drag the marker.

I moved you out of the Pacific Ocean and nearer Los Osos. If it's not right and you can't fix it PM me the location and I'll fix it.

In looking at the map I noticed also that ETI is misplaced by about 300Km -- it shows they're located west northwest of Butcher Peak. Can a mod fix it?
