Trees

You just missed escape artist who arrived in Ft Myers yesterday we met them in Sarasota in the morning. We are still Escapeless but enjoying the sun in Siesta Key until Friday

As you head north, swing through Ruskin (north of Bradenton) and check out EG Simmons Co. Park. Sites have channels to Tampa Bay, quiet "old" FL park. Last year $18 for sr. cit.
Then travel up the road to Apollo Beach and check out the manatee viewing & interpretive center at the power plant / big smoke stacks. Saw on news tonight they counted 300 manatees there today! They float around in the warm water coming out of plant when it is cold snap like this.

Thanks for the tips. We are here with our daughter son in law and their new born daughter and yesterday they met friends went to Appolo and saw the manatees. We hung out at the condo. I went by bicycle to the south end of the key and rode through the small but very nicely treed turtle beach campground. We have pretty well decided that we're going to buy escape artists 5.0. They will even drop it off to us in MB on their way to Escape for their new5 in May!

Wow! Congrats!
I hv seen Turtle Beach CG on map & checked internet.
Glad to hear it is well treed. You sometimes see trees in a photo, but reality is different.
First Escape we saw was a 5.0. Finally decided on 19' to replace our 5th wheel.
You picked the right time to escape sub zero temps up here!
