We use a Weber Q, Camp chef Ranger II, and Camp chef firepit with the QC. Got the Y connector and a $30 Wally folding table so I can set the kitchen up by the tongue or turn it just under the awning for weather days. Love the whole setup and not having to carry extra tank now.

Hey Thanks Glenn for including a picture of your Napoleon grill. I haven't seen one before. I think I'd really like the two burners for more control. Indirect cooking is best for easy burn foods like chicken. Maybe if you come to the Rally this year and bring your grill, I should come over for a chicken taste test .... 'course for the test to be accurate, I'll need to taste it from the outside all the way to the inside. Drums and thighs included.

Chicken is always on the menu, and ribs, burgers, anything without roots and a stem.

Hi Tom
I didn't know that's how it worked. When I was a kid, the Bohemies out in Tama County, Iowa used to invite a neighbor to dinner with "Duck dinner, you bring the duck".

I happen to know - because he told me -
Only sold here as far as I could tell and is a very difficult thing to find:
Propane Quick Connect Y Adapter - RV Fitting - propanegear
I own one and it works beautifully.
You can also buy one about $10 more that has shut offs in it. But my extension hoses all have shut offs. So no need, at least for me.
We are exactly copying Greg's brilliant setup of: exterior propane quick connect outlet on Escape. Quick connect Y. Quick connect Hoses. Folding table. CampRanger 2 stove. (regulator removed, of course, as it is already low flow) And a propane campfire. (In a can) (regulator also removed, of course, as it is already low flow)
Brilliant.
Thanks Greg!!!!

Thanks so much!! There are quite a lot of these "Y" splitters out there so it's nice to get the name of one that works.

When I looked a year ago, I could not find others, short of building from parts, which was a lot more. I did buy that one linked to, but I had to get Carl to bring it to me, as they would not ship to Canada. I see now that they have a link for Canadian customers to their eBay sight, maybe my complaining worked.
I have not used it yet, but it certainly does look to be well made.

You'll like it Jim, very solid and like you say you can't buy the parts and assemble one for less. Glad you may have gotten them to expand to CA sales.
I'll be inspecting LA's setup at Q next week but sounds like he's got it pretty well together.

i still don't know how to make my campfire and grill and stove work with the quick connect so i use the little propane tanks and a larger tank for the campfire. Maybe when we are at the rally someone can show me what i need to do with each and what i need to buy- fittings. I think i need to see it i cant really understand the directions people have posted. I'm not good at this type of thing.

Kate, as long as the regulator can be removed from the appliance, you can use the quick connect. With many stoves (like Coleman) and some BBQs it is not possible. I think just about every propane firepit can be converted though.
But, stop around at the rally and I will be glad to show you my setup, and we can then check yours out and see what can be done.

On the 5.0 TA is the quick connect attached to the propane line going to the stove top on the passenger side or to the line going to the furnace on the drivers side? I recall seeing a picture of the quick connect line going across the width of a trailer underneath but I don't know what model it was on.
