Fifth Wheel Designation

Just wondering why the 5.0 and 5.0TA have the .0 designation (decimal point and zero)? All the other Escapes are designated by their nominal length. I assume the "5" refers to being a fifth wheel. Anybody have the scoop on why the Escape fifth wheel trailer has the .0?

Hi: RickM... Hidden in your ? is the answer. "All the other Escapes"... The 5.0 is different. It ought nought be confused with all the other Escapes so it contains a decimal 0!!! Alf

There was an extensive discussion on the new TA name which also somewhat addressed the issue of the decimal point designation:
